September

So I did my very first official market today, in beautiful little Kyneton, a pleasant hours' drive to the north-ish of Melbourne. It was a significant day, for a number of reasons. I came to realise recently that the universe was pointing me in this direction, way back as far as July. I just didn't see the signs (and there were many), at the time. It can be like that. Often, it's only later, that you are able to look back and understand what made no sense at the time.

After a few early anxious moments with the weather, it turned out very nicely in the end. The market is located in a wonderful spot, in the grounds of a lovely old bluestone church - St Paul's - in a small garden area in the heart of historic Piper Street. Everything about it is quaint and lovely. I met such nice people. Had such a great day. Sales were slow, but I suspect that's not what the day was really all about. I'm not yet sure why my first market had to be here. I just know that it did. And I'm already looking forward to my next market there, second Saturday in October.

Oh yes, September 12th. Nine months today since I gave up the day job to follow my dream. And it also just happens to be, according to the wonderful angel intuitive, Doreen Virtue, international angel day. Think that didn't make me smile. :)

Next craft market stop, Williamstown, Sunday 20th. After that? Well, who knows...
